Dear Eva and everyone at Special Spirit, Inc.,

We wanted to thank you so much for selecting Christina as your first Barney McGeary Riding Scholarship recipient. What a surprise and honor it was for her. It was wonderful to meet you in person at the Kiwanis horseshow. Christina put the money in her savings account and is drawing from it each month to pay for her riding lessons. We are hoping with the interest it will accrue that she will be able to ride for the entire school year with her scholarship money. She will be spending even more time with her friends (equine and human) at T. H. E. Center this year, helping with grooming horses for other students’ lessons, cleaning stalls, and leading horses during the student lesson that follows hers. What a great gift this program has been for her. Thank you so much for your generosity, caring and concern for riders with special needs!
